About Hickory Lake

Hickory Lake is located on the Ripple River chain of lakes between Pine Lake and Spirit Lake. It is 211 acres in size, the maximum depth is 32 feet, and the water clarity is over 10 feet.

It is a great fishing lake. It is stocked every two years with walleye by the DNR and northerns, bass, crappies, and sunfish are plentiful.

There is canoe access to Pine and Spirit Lakes. People also ski and tube on the lake.

Access to the lake is limited to the campground or private owners on approximately half of the lakeshore. A large portion of the lakeshore is Minnesota state land and is undeveloped.
